Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the IB
Student Competencies
At Greenville, the “Learning Experiences” of our Primary students create a stimulating and meaningful educational context.

Primary students become “agents” of their own learning and work collaboratively, which allows them to enhance their skills, knowledge, and attitudes.

By fostering self-discipline and reflection, they become protagonists of their own learning process and emotional growth.

At Greenville Primary, we ensure that our students feel confident, independent, and capable of analyzing and solving problems through a transdisciplinary and conceptual inquiry-based approach.

Only at Greenville will you find areas of knowledge that promote in our students a global perspective, a love for the environment, and respect for multiculturalism through subjects such as Environment and Intercultural Studies.

Lower Elementary
The Chess class is an iconic subject at Greenville because it increases IQ, exercises both brain hemispheres, and strengthens memory and problem-solving skills in our students.
The reading and writing process is consolidated through phonological awareness, perceptual-visual and auditory exercises, memory stimulation, muscle tone, laterality, and spatial awareness.
