Today’s society insists that we must try to be someone; with a profitable job, the most important position and be leaders. However, wherever we are, we can learn to serve.
The High School students for their class of CAS organized an outing to the movies with 22 children from the Salvation Army’s Home for Children.
The preparation took a month to coordinate with the movie theater, the food and with the Home for Children so that everything went perfectly. The students organized various fundraising activities to earn the money needed.
Thanks to the generosity of the community, the goal was achieved. Seeing the smile of 22 children enjoying the move “Smallfoot” made all the effort worthwhile.
The spirit of service is necessary today more than ever.
