Last weekend during the regional competition for the best robotic performance, organized by First Lego League 2019, our students José Fernando Valdivia Saavedra and André Chávez Moscoso were crowned as the regional champions of the Lego robotic contest that took place in the state of Campeche.
André and José prepared for three months to participate, where the theme was to solve a problem regarding space.
The first challenge was the robot game, where they had to design and assemble a robot in an autonomous way (pure programming). The second challenge was a project, where they proposed a solution to a problem and had to present it to the judges. Another aspect of the competition was about values.
With this win, André and Jose have qualified for the National Robotics Competition which will be held February 23rd in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.
Congratulations to them both. Without a doubt they are a great talent and a source of pride for our school. All our best wishes to this great team and their families.
