12TH GRADE STUDENTS FROM GREENVILLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE JUAN GRAHAM HOSPITAL, VILLAHERMOSA, TABASCO, MÉXICO
As a show of solidarity, our 12th grade students of the Creativity, Action and Service class (or CAS) for Greenville International School´s Diploma Programme, decided in light of the Covid-19 pandemic to make a donation to the Juan Graham Casasús Hospital with the resources they raised that was destined for different social support actions, The students took it upon themselves to contact suppliers and using the $13,835.00 pesos collected during the school year bought glasses, face masks and protective masks for the hospital’s medical personnel which included doctors, nurses and support staff.
Due to the sanitary measures, the students sent the products to the hospital through the Lic. Guadalupe Inés Hernández.
This experience helps us all to be humane, more considerate and allows us to put into practice the school’s philosophy as well as the attributes of the Diploma Programme for International Baccalaureate. The students have demonstrated the values and skills that they have developed during their training process.
We wish to recognize each of the 12th grade High School and Diploma Programme (IB) students for this humanistic labor.
