The students from 11-B, as part of their Creativity, Activity, Service class within the International Baccalaureate program, visited the community kitchen “Sabor Esperanza” to spend time and share nutritious food with more than 100 people. The students prepared pasta, sandwiches and jello as well as refreshing drinks. Their initiative sought to not only satisfy the community’s nutritional needs, but also to provide them with hope and support. The students’ participation demonstrated empathy in a real-world situation where small acts can lead to big changes.
