Second graders carried out their Summative Evaluation corresponding to the Unit of Inquiry “Where We Are in Time and Space”. The objective of the “Living Zoo” was to identify the importance of diversity in the environment. The students played the role of plants or animals in a specific habitat, showing the community the importance of each living thing in an ecosystem and how they contribute to create harmony in their habitats and the global environment. It is worth mentioning that all school supplies collected at the zoo box office will be donated to two different public schools.
